Yay Akismet!

I installed Akismet anti-comment-spam on my blog about a week ago.

It’s already caught and blocked 354 comments, all of which were actually spam.

This tells me two things:

  1. I should have installed Akismet months ago.
  2. My blog is actually showing up for some search engines!

I’m happy about one of those. 🙂

I’m wearing a tie

I have an interview today. I’m “dressed up” — I’m wearing dress shoes, a white (short-sleeve) dress shirt, dress slacks, dress socks, and a tie. I’m not wearing a dress, but I’m still dressed up, especially compared to my usual jeans and a t-shirt.

I’ve spoken to two coworkers so far today. Both of them have looked at me strangely.

I should dress up more often. 🙂
